hello world ... i am at a loss here ...

the bears had it all .. but sold it under the table of some grimey casino in vegas. i guess money is what makes the world go round. however it would be nice to see true champs instead of warmed over has beens. that said the superbowl wasnt a very interesting game unless youwere a colt. its a very honest opinion when i say that when you tell the defense to stand down and you bench your own special teams, and you play exactly the way the opposing coach had taught you when you were studying under them that the winning team wouldnt have to try very hard to win.

and they didnt. tho i am a chicago fan, and will still get that #99 TANK JOHNSON jersey, i beleive that lovie smith got what he bargined for. now what he bargined away the superbowl victory for is up for spectulation, it couldnt have been a brazillian hottie, because as a winner he would have had many of them to pick from. however he watered down his soul w/ gatorade and got whatever he wanted, and directed rex grossman to "be creative" knowing that a rookie quarterback wouldnt have the experience to govern a superbowl pressured game.

lovie smith barely said 2 words into that nice juicy motorola sideline radio the entire game. why would he need too?

however i lost a personal bet and its going to be crazy and i am getting ready to surrender my pride and [i think pride and stuff is like an inverted positive stress on the mind. and thats all i will say about that.]

i plan on keeping my baby townhouse.... and i will keep on believeing in YHWH

and i will negotiate like hell with my mortgage company... ...because the 2 year arm expired, they billed me for hopping up my intrest rate 3% [thats like $250/month] and then dont bill me for it and then call me for foreclosure and i have to pay them a million dollars like on tuesday. and i dont think its fair.

unfortuntatly this dovetails into a spiritual dilemma that i have .. i pray .. i am not too smart .. i know this .. but GOD sees all cant HE give me the hook up?! i mean i take the only job i can get [thanks for the door opening!] but dont have $ to return tithe or be out on my ear in may 2006 .. i limp along and cant go anyfurther ..

but i am told i am being lazy. i cant wait for GOD to move on mybehalf. I HAVE TO DO IT. this is odd, becuase there is no record of Job having a "we are not speaking" moment with GOD even tho bad stuff was going on ... GOD SPOKE TO HIM AND RE-ASSURED AND GUIDED

there is no record of isrealites building rafts at the shores of the red sea ... and GOD SPOKE AND MOVED AN ENTIRE OCEAN OF WATER..

i cant "just make do" i need divine help. is my imperfection good enuf to sway the hand of GOD i am crying because i am loosing friends and family dont respect me and the LOVERS ROCK i am to cling too is silent and i dont know what to do ..

so i apply like hell on the message boards and hope for the best. per=adventure GOD will see fit to open a door but my dispair is making my heart break. i know what david means now ....

problem is much like virginity, if you havent done it before, you dont know exactly what to expect tho you think its supposed to be great, but nobody tells you about the not so nice parts.

many years ago i came to an understanding that much like the trumpets/shofar and the moon were to be reminders of repentance, that JESUS in his 2nd coming would sweep by the constellation of orion.

i look up at the night sky and am quietly reminded to pray in repentance, and that JESUS is coming soon that orion is his doorway [maybe or not] but that JESUS is coming soon. I always smile at the sky and remember that this life is an elaborate farce of sin and aspostacy to GOD and soon and very soon we are gonna see the KING.

good things happen to good people

good things happen to bad people
bad things happen to bad people

salvation happens to penitent people who submit to GOD every aspect of their lives..

but am i out of place for asking good things to happen to me?

i feel i can provide [maybe its all an illusion] for myself
but i want GOD to provide for me

but i really want GOD to talk to me.

or is this a gift from GOD that i must wait on?

i am working my mind into a depressed and dis-appointed froth over this for years
single, no son's to raise or teach or guide and love....
no daughters to show how to be a lady .....
no wife to make passionate love and invent strange fantasy stories to act out..
no sex toys to buy .. no helping each other stretch so we can be limber enuf to kama sutra
no making love and bonding/binding our hearts so tight we cant remarry

no pride of family raised right
no accomplishment and having a home [and a little listening / love room]
no nice jet-silver jaguar to glide my woman along with
no respect from my family .. nadda

i can invent it .. i think .. if i put my mind to it, but i want to put GOD first and let HIM provide every good thing for me. i dont know what to think..

i havent had a housewarming party for 2 years .. now it may be time for me to go. just as well tho i found out who my real friends were who actually came to visit me here..

this is an interesting pickle for me to be in ... as a born/dyed in the wool protestant i found myself siding w/ the pope for once on something ... so lets take the long road to rescue me from catholisizm[side#3], islam[side#2], and me[side#0] had to do the mathematical thing there lest my home owners insurance let me down and i end up living under 75th street on I-355.
however ... in the pope's comments in a speech in germany, he quoted a 14th century source who lambasted the "honorable prophet Muhammed" [peace for ever be upon Him] for the spreading of Islam via the sword. appearantly not content to eliminate in-fidel-ity on the earth by well getting rid of infidels, people were compelled to profess islam as their choice or then face death, and there were conflicting reports of those unfortunate people still meeting their end.

this wasnt at all much different from the catholic church at that point in time [hello!!] or for that matter many years later the choice of percieved backlash/interregation tactics by american/coalition forces in guantanamo bay or Abu Ghraib prison ... or even whats going on in saudi arabia for unfortunate Christians who happen to be there right now.

the backlash from the muslim community is vocal and predictable. the problem is growing not for the growing "political in-correctness" to even mention islam w/ out being an imam.

and thats just the start. but the pope has a point here. [where i feel quezy] and that is we all know violence doesnt effectivly win hearts for the cause of GOD. but the powers that be do it anyways.

the irony is that JESUS said best here when talking about a sword as a metaphor for conflict ...

now we have to ask ... what does standing up for faith mean? is it an external exercise where we cure the world of in-fidel-ity to the word of Allah? or is it an internal burden requiring penetance and communion in prayer and living out the expression of love to YHWH and our fellow man? knowing that only the holy SPIRIT of YHWH can change hearts how can we express our piety?

do we shout it? or do we let it flow?

last nite i went to my friends house [yo kent!!] and had a very informative bible study on the topic of judgement illustrated in the bible. it boils down to 3 phases of the judgement process that i started to take some notes but i was dragging on the time factor so i will have to catch up.

you know ... i work nights and sleeping during the day is such an acomplishment for me and today i did it!! i got a straight 5 1/2 hours sleep!! yay!! and i didnt have to get jiggy w/ nyquil.

today's sermon ..

Hey everybody..just interesting take on the sermon this sabbath ..

The sermon topic was the "woman at the well" the story from John 4:1-34,
but for most of the sermon we focused on verse 14

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

however its interesting to note as i was following the chain references in my bible during the sermon i stumbled on a chapter that lives in the shadow of another very well known chapter ..
speaking of course of Isaiah 54 .. since everybody knows about Isaiah 53 [ 1Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? ]

but you have to read Isiah 54 .. the whole chapter is about the lowly being bought into magnificency and the sinner being forgiven with such an exclaimation point that it boggles the mind .. here is a hint 2 verses that tie togather ...

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

this matches with .. [in the chain references anyways]

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

but to finish things up .. you have to finish reading all of Isaiah 54 and then about the first 6 verses of Isaiah 55 ... things take on a whole new meaning when forgiveness is expressed as "living water" that is more expensive than money but is offered for free to all who believe and hold onto GOD as their ultimate object de affection' and loyalty!

The common people are bewildered, for they naturally detect that the Emperor has no clothes on. “The [vociferous] labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, for he knoweth not how to go to the [Holy?] city” (Eccl 10:15) Paul tells the lowly, humble people, “You see your calling,.... that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things.... to put to shame the wise,.... and the base things and.... despised God has chosen,.... that no flesh should glory in His presence” (1 Cor. 1:13) If you are one of the “common people” who hears Jesus “gladly” (Mark 1:12), don’t “glory” over the “wise” and “noble.” Be humble; the Father’s rejection of them is not total—just of “many.” They can repent if they will listen. If you were “wise” or “noble” you might be proud, too. Thank God we common people can welcome a mode of repentance always.

i have so many things on my mind its making me mental. lets talk about stuff that is on the surface and all raw..

of course the problem is wisdom to say what i think vs. saying what people want to hear/expect. however there is a love interest in my life (that dates back to they days of GUY) that truthfully while she is cute in many ways .. some other things dont add up to "brazillian porno goddess" stature and yes while this is what many men are secretly holding out for, they grow out of it and mature to understand that life just aint always about shiny brazillian bootay that is attached to sexy very flexible hips and butter soft thighs ...

however .. real life intervenes and its obviously true that everybody isnt eva mendez but then there is the very real fact of life that people grow on you and that even tho it validates a womans sexuality/sensuality to know that every man falls helplessly for her at first sight, there is the truth that says that things you find pleasureable or sexy or damn sexy or infuriatingly sexy will change over time ..

this is a good reason for all you married folks and about to be married folks to decide w/ your significat others to not have a rigid standard of what you will NEVER do, make the sky be the limit and have sensible PRINCIPLES of your erotic-sensual direction. because 15 years from now you might get into shaving each other for example even if you dont do it today ..

what my friend --who didnt totally appeal to me at first IN EVERY WAY-- taught me in so many years is that the mind is the most powerful sex organ, and while i will always love a woman in sexily lightly glossed full lips .. but that a woman with pretty hands [for those who just moved to the indianapolis area] is just as sexy ...

this is my nephew jonathan .. and he is a happy go lucky little 2year old mister currently residing in the big nyc with his mammy and pappy .. as you can see i am a proud and happy uncle.so onto other things .. my BFF is mad at me and she wants to stay mad at me and she wont tell me why. so i have to just be patient and wait. its probably something i have said, becuase i havent seen her in a while there goes something ..

meanwhile i had a good sitdown with another friend going thru tuff times and was able to talk to her about the value of prayer and WHY bad things happen.. the point is that sin has to run its course and also when bad things happen its a test for the people around you .. a challenge to step up and help a brother/sister in need ..

on the way home from church potluck today they gave me the rest of the tray of food w/ pastries and other peieces of apple pie and stuff .. on the turn off the expressway there was a homeless guy w/ a sign asking for donations etc.. i offered him the entire platter but he refused it .. but he did take some pie [it was on a paper saucer] ..

oddly when i drove off i felt blessed .. not pity on this guy out in the cold shilling for change, but i was able to do something .. i had a couple bucks on me but i knew i had to use that for gas for this week .. but you get the idea..

back to my philosophical musings today .. you know .. "the meaning of things" .. however not enuf time .. must go to sleep .. meanwhile on the way home this week i did get a chance to listen to what should have been sonic nurvana ...
however the stereo separation was very nice .. spooky .. and it got loud and clean .. very very clean when loud enuf to butt your eardrums in, however the dealer had them wired w/ wimpy non=audiophile cables and a SWITCH BOX ala circuit city or something .. and the amp was waaak as well. even with those disadvantages this was a nice speaker .. the whole point being if you got 7g's to take this baby home [1] you better be single becuase wifey dont play that and [2] invest in really good amps + cables ...

all that said .. i am going to bed .. be good ... keep praying for wisdom .. and make do until JESUS comes ... and ignore the haters ..

i have a million things to do today .. and have been answering some questions from people who wonder if all i do is think about high-end stereo gear all day long [most of the day, not all of it .. ]

however to feed the mind is more that hifi gear .. its also computer gear!!! yay .. i would be invincible if i had one of these .. so its also another geeky thing for me to sink my imagination into ..
besides other "unworthy-ing" things that could lead to my eternal damnation. so you see i have to fill my imagination w/ other stuff .. geeky is cool right?

however i have some leads to chase down today and my phone is charged up and jumping out of my hand like a mexican jumping bean and if i get everything done i might have time to also check out this fountain pen or this pen in person in the mall ... i have always like nice/exotic pens but thats another collection/hobby i havent had the $$$ to indulge in ..

being that i have no problem looking/investigating things i cant afford you know i will make a chance to see this now that i know what store has it .. :) be good yall..

so now lets get serious .. I've been thinking pretty heavy all day about how to make the CD/DVD front end of my currently non-existent stereo work, and I stumbled onto a website [hmm] where it seems that a regular computer when encoding music from a CD eliminates a great amount of "jitter" and other digital artifacts .. The challenge is to get the computer to play back those files in an all digital way to be decoded by an external DAC .. I found a way but this is so probably what people didn't come here for that if you post a response I will follow up with more info .. Wow is that expensive .. I guess it works tho .. Is that the sweetest pre-amp/DAC you have ever seen?! Wow ..

and now I promised myself to also deliver 3 totally unrelated questions ...

[1] how come some people ask questions to force an issue, when they could just force an issue [all you girls out there]

[2] what does it take to have a proper sense of outrage [!]when faced with the news that EXXON-MOBIL is the most profitable company in the history of business as of 2005, is about to CUT production 10-15% to keep the profit rolling in, and the president of the USA gets up to defend all this? [double hmm !!!]

[3] how come 95% of people don't read their bibles outside of church? Do they read on their computers? [triple hmmm !!!!]

from cruising other blogs i know that if i rant for 3pages here about musings and thoughts it gets really tedious and boring .. so i wont do that even tho i have been "processing" quite abit lately ..

"processing" is like a computer crunching away on a problem in the backround that slows the foreground processes and makes you kind of melencholy and stare into space and wonder about stuff and people ask you if you are ok ..
